The Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme seeks to enhance internationalisation in Japan by promoting mutual understanding between the people of Japan and those of other nations.
Call for Applications 2019 (Maltese Citizens)
ALT (Assistant Language Teacher): will be engaged in language teaching. ALTs will be mainly assigned to boards of education, elementary, junior high, or senior high schools, and will work under the guidance of language teachers' consultants or Japanese teachers fo the foreign language.

The documentation listed in the Application Guidelines should be submitted by post or other courier service to the above address.
Upon receiving the documents, the applicants will receive a confirmation e-mail from the Embassy. After the first screening of the documentation, which will be held on March 18th, applicants who pass the screening will be notified by e-mail, with details about the date and time of the interview, which will be held between April 1st and 5th at the Honorary Consulate of Japan in Malta (Sir Luigi Preziosi Square, 38 Floriana VLT 14).
