Export of Kuromatsu from Japan to Malta will be enabled from 1 October 2020

The European Union had banned the import of Japanese Kuromatsu bonsai due to its concern on pests, but as a result of repeated discussions with the phytosanitary authorities, Japan and EU agreed to the phytosanitary conditions and it became able to export to EU member countries including Malta from October 1.
