The diplomatic relations between Japan and Italy began with silk trade 150 years ago. Kimono made with silk is a cultural heritage on behalf of Japan and still worn since over 1300 years ago.
Nobuaki Tomita, who is a Kimono Designer and stylist, will showcase you various kind of beautiful kimonos and the technique of dressing. He is plannig to introuduce a kimono dyed with chocolate in Trino and a kimono dyed with colour indigo blue in Genova, which is a Japanese traditionnal dyeing method like Jeans.
The fusion of Japan and Italian culture is expected to deepen further mutural understandings of both countries.
